Job Description As a Security Officer Full Time in Dayton, NJ , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Front Desk Security Professional at a logistics and distribution location, you will be the welcoming first point of contact, supporting access control, visitor check-in, and customer service. Using computer or tablet systems, you will help maintain accurate records, communicate professionally with employees and guests, and report security-related concerns. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $16.50 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon08:00 AM - 04:00 PM Tue08:00 AM - 04:00 PM Wed08:00 AM - 04:00 PM Thur08:00 AM - 04:00 PM Fri08:00 AM - 04:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to visitors, employees, drivers, and vendors by following site-specific security-related procedures and front desk policies at a logistics and distribution location. Monitor access to the facility by greeting visitors, verifying credentials, maintaining visitor logs, and directing authorized individuals to appropriate areas. Answer and route incoming calls, receive deliveries, and communicate visitor, shipment, and access information to appropriate site personnel. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures. Maintain accurate records of visitor activity, incidents, and front desk communications, and report unusual activity to site leadership and/or Allied Universal management. Minimum Requirements: Customer service experience is preferred. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
