Position Summary Travel Physical Therapist – 13‑week assignment in Southington, CT for TNAA TotalMed Allied. Job Details Specialty: Physical Therapist Discipline: Therapy Duration: 13 weeks Hours: 40 hours per week (8‑hour days) Shift: 8-hour days Employment: Travel Location: Southington, CT Responsibilities Evaluate, develop, and execute a plan of care for a variety of patient populations in an acute care setting. Oversee supervising PTAs and support staff (therapy technicians). Bill within the respective setting following guidelines. Understand and comply with the respective PT board's rules and state regulations. Interface with medical center personnel and physicians to ensure team‑focused plan of care. Understand adaptive equipment. Modify plan of care based on patient’s condition. Use medical center computer systems for daily tasks. Provide timely and accurate documentation per state and insurance guidelines. Qualifications Minimum of 6 months’ experience; new graduates encouraged. Exceptionally qualified candidates with 1 year may be accepted. Valid BLS certification. State‑specific licensing (state of practice). Physical ability to stand and walk for long periods, bend, lean, stoop without difficulty. Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology. Optional additional certifications may be required. Compensation Pay package based on 8‑hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax‑free stipend.
