Job Title: Line Cook Location: Stone Arch Brewpub , Appleton, WI Pay Range: $17.00 – $22.00 per hour About the Role Join the team at Wisconsin’s oldest continually operating brewpub. We are looking for a dedicated Line Cook to help craft our sustainable, locally sourced menu in a fast-paced, high-energy environment. You will be responsible for preparing high-quality dishes that match our award-winning handcrafted brews. Responsibilities Execute the Line: Accurately and efficiently prepare and cook all fried, sautéed, and grilled items according to established recipes and quality standards. Station Management: Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation throughout your shift. Prep and Portioning: Follow prep lists to ensure all food items are portioned and ready for service, minimizing waste. Quality Control: Practice precise plate presentation and ensure every dish meets our "remarkably crafted" expectations. Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with superiors and teammates to resolve problems and ensure smooth operations during peak hours. Requirements Experience: Prior experience in a high-volume kitchen or fine dining environment is preferred. Physical Demands: Ability to stand and walk for an entire shift (approx. 5–8 hours) and lift up to 40 lbs. Mindset: A positive attitude, a passion for food, and the ability to work with equanimity under pressure. Professionalism: Reliability, punctuality, and a commitment to maintaining a neat appearance.
