The Greer Group has a great temp to hire opportunity open for an experienced Warehouse Shipping and Receiving Associate. This opportunity is 1st shift and located in the Arden area!

Job Summary

The Warehouse Shipping Support Employee will help maintain an organized and efficient warehouse by inspecting, transporting, and storing incoming raw materials and preparing finished products for shipment. This position will also maintain inventory records and communicate material or inventory issues to the appropriate supervisor.

Location: Arden, NC area
Pay: $18.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
Job Type: Temp-to-Hire

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Prepare and stage pallets of product for shipment according to priorities established by the Shipping Supervisor
• Maintain accurate product inventory in the warehouse
• Receive, inspect, and properly store incoming materials
• Sign for received materials and complete required documentation
• Transport materials and products throughout the warehouse
• Inspect incoming materials and finished products for accuracy or damage
• Report inventory discrepancies, damaged materials, and other concerns
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse
• Communicate findings and issues both verbally and in writing
• Follow all company safety procedures and warehouse policies
• Assist with other warehouse and shipping duties as needed

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse, shipping, receiving, or manufacturing experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Good communication and organizational skills
• Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic
• Ability to safely handle and move materials
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
