Partner with designers and product managers to solve the right problems for customers.Write well-designed, well-tested, readable, and maintainable codeParticipate in code reviews to maintain code quality, distribute knowledge, and help team velocityOwn solving problems end to end across a variety of systems and services in close collaboration with other engineers at TaxbitProfessional Qualifications3+ years of professional programming experience building cloud applications and servicesExperience building polished, scalable web applications with a strong emphasis on front-end architecture, user interfaces, and customer-facing product experiences.Strong background working with design systems, component libraries, and reusable UI patterns to drive consistency and speed across product development.Deep familiarity with modern web technologies, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and TypeScript, with the ability to build intuitive and performant interfaces.Hands-on experience with React and related front-end frameworks/libraries for building complex, data-heavy product experiences.Comfortable operating in product engineering environments where UI quality, reusable patterns, and front-end craftsmanship are important parts of the role.Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experienceProven track record of identifying opportunities to build, test, and scale AI-powered solutions.Sees AI as a force multiplier and actively looks for ways to enhance team performance through innovation & curiosity.Personal CharacteristicsStrong coding skills in Typescript NodeJS/React and/or PythonExperience with a variety of cloud storage solutions (SQL, Blob, Document, Search)Experience with AWS cloud infrastructure, DataDog, and GitHub CI/CDCompensation The base salary range for this role is $110,000 - $170,000. Certain roles may be eligible for incentive compensation, equity, and benefits.
