$35-$45/hr | Monday-Friday Days | Full Benefits
If you're a diesel mechanic who can actually diagnose problems instead of just replacing parts, this is the kind of shop you're looking for.
We're hiring an experienced Diesel Technician to join a busy, well-equipped operation in Brighton, MI. You'll work on a fleet of diesel trucks powered by Cummins, PACCAR, Detroit, and similar engines, handling everything from diagnostics and electrical repairs to emissions systems and preventative maintenance.
This is a stable Monday-Friday position with steady hours, competitive pay, and excellent benefits.
Schedule
- Monday-Friday
- 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM
- No rotating shifts
Pay
- Experienced Diesel Mechanics: $35-$45/hr
- PM / Preventative Maintenance Technicians: $25-$35/hr
- Pay based on experience and skill level
What You'll Do
- Diagnose and repair diesel engines and truck systems
- Perform advanced electrical troubleshooting
- Repair and maintain DPF, DEF, SCR, and aftertreatment systems
- Service brakes, suspension, steering, tires, hydraulics, pneumatics, and A/C systems
- Complete preventative maintenance inspections and services
- Use OEM diagnostic software and scan tools
- Maintain accurate repair orders and service documentation
What We're Looking For
- 2+ years of diesel mechanic experience
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities
- Experience working with Cummins, Detroit Diesel, CAT, PACCAR, or similar engines
- Ability to work independently and efficiently
- Own basic hand tools
- Valid driver's license
- CDL is a plus but not required
