Description

American Traveler is hiring a Labor & Delivery RN for a 13-week night shift travel assignment requiring at least 1 year of L&D experience and AWHONN or NCC-EFM fetal monitoring certification.

Details

• Hospital-based Labor & Delivery (L&D) unit
• Night shift schedule, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 13-week contract assignment

Requirements

• Active RN license (TX or Compact) required
• Minimum 1 year of recent Labor & Delivery experience required
• BLS certification required (AHA or ARC accepted, must not expire within first 30 days of assignment)
• Fetal Monitoring certification required: Intermediate or Advanced AWHONN, or NCC-EFM
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification required, Advanced 9th Edition, current card from American Academy of Pediatrics
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• US Social Security Number and Date of Birth required for consideration (no Canadian SSN accepted)
• One professional reference required for consideration

Additional Information

• Provide direct patient care to laboring patients within the L&D department
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; local candidates will not be considered
