We work on the bleeding edge of what AI can do, guide our clients to the right solutions for their business, and ship the infrastructure they run on. We sell across three divisions. Managed AI is our MSP, purpose-built for institutional investors: private equity firms, venture capital funds, asset managers, and capital markets clients. We map how a firm actually works, deploy custom agents into the workflows that consume deal teams' time (reading deal documents, drafting IC memos, scoring targets, triaging inbound, structuring offers, monitoring portfolio companies), and keep evolving those systems as models and firm needs change. AI Engineering embeds our teams directly with clients to build and harden production AI systems. AI Transformation handles roadmap and readiness work, helping leaders figure out what to build, in what order, and how to prepare for it. About the Role As an AI Strategist, you run the client relationships across a set of institutional investor accounts: the private equity firms, venture funds, and asset managers we build for. You lead discovery with their deal teams, keep every conversation and timeline moving, synthesize what you hear into the requirements we build from, and support the building of the agents and skills that go live in their workflows. When a client needs an answer, a session needs scheduling, or last week's interview needs to become this week's build list, that's you. You're the connective tissue of your accounts: the point of contact clients trust, and the hub that keeps clients, engineers, and the work in sync. You own the loop between what a client says and what we ship, and the tighter and faster you run it, the better your accounts move. It's a front-row seat. You're in the room while some of the most influential investors in the world rethink how they work, and you learn how AI actually gets deployed inside a real firm. In This Role, You Will Run discovery interviews with deal teams and principals: schedule them, prep the questions, conduct them, and synthesize what you heard into requirements you can build from. This is how we learn what to build next. Own scheduling and coordination across your accounts (client calls, interviews, kickoffs, internal syncs) so your accounts keep moving and nothing stalls on logistics. Be the day-to-day communication channel for your clients: responsive, clear, proactive. Clients always know what's happening and never have to chase us. Build agents and skills in Claude: prototype, test, and help ship the systems that go live in client workflows. Sit in on prototype reviews, then turn client reactions into the next iteration, closing the loop between what clients say and what ships. Keep client status current against our 1 to 5 delivery rubric (progress, sentiment, scope, capacity), and surface risks like slipping timelines, scope creep, and capacity crunches before they become problems. Support onboarding for new accounts as we sign them, so every engagement starts with strong communication and clear expectations. Hand clean inputs to the engineers on your accounts (requirements, context, priorities) so they move straight to building. What Year One Looks Like Your accounts run clean. Discovery, comms, builds, and timelines all move through you, and nothing slips. Clients on your accounts rate us high on responsiveness and engagement. Nothing falls through the cracks on your watch. You've run dozens of discovery interviews and built real instinct for how a deal team's week comes together and where AI changes it. You own client communication independently and you're contributing to scoping and strategy on your accounts. You run the day-to-day across your accounts, and you're taking on more scope as you prove you can carry it. You Might Thrive Here If You Have 1 to 3 years in a client-facing or coordination-heavy role: solutions architect, sales or solutions engineer, consulting analyst, account or project coordinator, or similar. Internship and project experience counts, and we hire for the person. Are already hands-on with Claude or similar AI tools to get real work done. You'll be hands-on in Claude from day one. Communicate exceptionally well: credible on a call with senior people, fast and reliable over email and Slack, comfortable being the face of the team to clients. Are relentlessly organized: many threads at once, no dropped follow-ups, order out of scheduling chaos. Are genuinely curious about AI and how institutional investors work. No finance background required, you just need to be excited to learn how a deal team operates and where AI fits. Are eager and able to learn fast. The role moves quickly across new domains, tools, and clients, and you get up to speed without hand-holding. Are proactive and hands-on: you'd rather solve it than elevate it, and you take ownership without being asked. Are based in Central Time (Austin preferred). Nice to Have Experience running user interviews, discovery, or requirements gathering. Any exposure to private equity, VC, asset management, or other institutional investors.
