Job Description
Hilton Daytona Beach is seeking a reliable and hardworking Steward to join our fast-paced hotel team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation of all dishware, kitchen utensils, and cooking equipment to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
Responsibilities
- Wash, clean, and sanitize dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans using dishwasher or by hand.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dishwashing area and kitchen.
- Assist kitchen staff with basic cleaning and maintenance tasks as needed.
- Follow all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
- Work efficiently in a fast-paced hotel environment to support timely food service.
Skills & Qualifications
- Previous experience as a dishwasher in a fast-paced hotel or restaurant setting preferred.
- Ability to work quickly and efficiently under pressure.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy items as required.
- Team player with good communication skills.
