Activity Director

Overview Join our team at The Springs of Texarkana! We are currently seeking an Activities Director to coordinate and execute a thoughtfully planned activity program for our residents. Responsibilities Deliver a high-quality program of activities tailored to meet the diverse needs of individuals and groups. Collaborate with other departments as part of a multidisciplinary team and take on additional tasks or responsibilities as assigned. Assist residents in enhancing re-socialization skills and contribute to the improvement of physical well-being. Promote leisure education and develop personalized one-on-one programs for room-bound or bed-bound residents. Create an ongoing schedule of meaningful activities aligned with the unique needs and interests of each resident. Provide mental and sensory stimulation and develop individualized plans for residents. Participate in community-oriented and marketing projects and maintain daily effective interactions with residents and their families. Qualifications / Requirements Highly organized, detail-oriented, with excellent verbal and written communication skills. Creative and compassionate approach; flexibility and genuine enjoyment of working with the senior population. Willingness to work flexible hours to accommodate patient needs. Proficiency in computer skills; team-oriented mindset; caring and punctual attitude; demonstrated innovation.
