This is a highly visible role reporting into senior finance leadership with broad ownership across the general ledger, monthly reporting, budgeting, audit support, payroll, AP, AR, purchasing, and team leadership. Strong benefits, PTO, paid holidays, employer retirement contribution, life insurance, and disability coverage Stable organization with long-term career potential Highly visible role with senior finance leadership exposure Broad accounting ownership, not a narrow GL-only seat Opportunity to lead a small team and improve processes, controls, and reporting Monday through Friday, 40 hour work week Job Details Responsibilities Oversee accounting operations, general ledger, journal entries, reconciliations, and monthly financial reporting Prepare financial statements, budget reports, and internal reporting packages Support budgeting, forecasting, cash flow monitoring, variance analysis, and financial planning Coordinate audit preparation and work closely with external audit partners Support compliance, regulatory, tax, and financial reporting activities Oversee business office functions including AP, AR, payroll, purchasing, account activity, and cashiering-related processes Develop and maintain internal controls, accounting procedures, and process improvements Review payroll processing, tax filings, financial transactions, reconciliations, and reporting accuracy Lead, support, and develop accounting staff Partner with senior leadership and department leaders on financial visibility, reporting, and decision support Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required 6+ years of progressive accounting experience Prior management or supervisory experience required Strong GAAP, financial reporting, reconciliations, audit, budgeting, and internal controls experience Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills CPA preferred Nonprofit, education, public sector, healthcare, government, or other complex accounting experience is a plus ERP or enterprise financial system experience is a plus Strong communication skills and ability to partner with both finance and non-finance leaders Diversity and Inclusion Jobot is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
