School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist - Gordon, Georgia

Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting students as a contract Speech-Language Pathologist for the upcoming academic year. This role is ideal for providers who want to make a meaningful difference while maintaining flexibility, with part-time hours and the ability to start in late July.


Work 25-30 hours per week and collaborate with a dedicated educational team to deliver high-quality speech therapy services. With two openings available, you'll have the chance to help shape communication skills and support student success in a collaborative, school-based environment.


Qualifications:

• Valid Speech-Language Pathology license for practice in Georgia
• Accepting both Clinical Fellows (CFY) and those holding the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
• Previous experience in a school-based setting is preferred
• Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
• Ability to design and implement individualized education plan (IEP) based therapy goals

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop intervention plans for students with a variety of communication needs
• Deliver direct and indirect therapy services as outlined in student IEPs
• Work closely with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to provide holistic support
• Maintain thorough documentation and progress monitoring in compliance with school and state guidelines
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to collaborative problem-solving
• Engage in ongoing professional development and keep all credentials current
