Technical Writer - Hybrid

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Technical Writer - Hybrid position with a Global Medical Technology Company located in San Diego, CA. This is a 7 month contract opportunity.

Compensation: $30.00 - 40.00 per hour, W2

In this role, you will create, develop, plan, and edit operational, instructional, maintenance, and test procedures for a manufacturing team. You will collaborate with various users and technical experts to gather data for documentation, researching and translating technical information into clear documents for both technical and non-technical users.

Responsibilities:

• Create, develop, plan, write and edit operational, instructional, maintenance or test procedures
• Meet and interact with various users and technical experts to gather data for documentation
• Research and translate technical information into documents for nontechnical and technical users
• Document engineering processes and specifications
• Recommend formats responsive to technical and customer requirements
• Produce products that conform to company documentation and quality assurance standards
• Meet with requesters to gather build request information, assemble build packets, and gather approvals
• Handle documentation reconciliation

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline, and a minimum of 2-5 years related experience or a Master's degree and 0-2 years equivalent experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, Adobe)
• Strong communication and organizational skills

Desired skills:

• Experience with Smartsheet
• Past experience in an FDA-controlled or clean room environment
• Agile experience
