Community Centers Program Lead: Grants & Engagement

Sr. Program Coordinator – Community Centers This position will oversee the strategic development and implementation of Community Center programming at CNNC, assist with establishing and maintaining community relations with key partners, and contribute to marketing and fundraising plans, including seeking external funding to support community center operations and sustainability. Responsibilities Strategically develop and implement community center programming, identify community needs, and establish performance measures. Serve as the main liaison and facilitator of concerns regarding the Community Centers Program to CNNC leadership. Supervise community staff and provide indirect supervision of AmeriCorps members, interns, and volunteers. Oversee and coordinate the Eastside Immigrant Community Center (EICC) through program development and implementation. Maintain documentation and administrative records to meet grant and university requirements, and develop grant reports. Monitor program budgets, reconcile expenses, and submit invoices. Establish and maintain relationships with community partners collaborating with Community Centers; serve as central contact and attend local meetings as a CNNC representative. Identify external funding sources aligned with the mission and collaborate on grant writing to support the community center program. Perform other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications Master’s degree in a social science field or Bachelor’s degree in a social science field with at least three years of experience working with at‑risk and immigrant communities. Proficiency in spoken and written English and extensive knowledge of North Carolina immigrant communities. Experience in cross‑cultural human services or comparable training and knowledge of North Carolina Human Services systems. Valid North Carolina driver’s license. Preferred Qualifications Fluency in English and at least one other language. Experience with local refugee and immigrant populations and understanding of best practices in cultural brokering. Training in trauma‑informed care and cultural humility. Experience with grant reporting and data management.
