Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (L&D RN) to provide high-quality care to patients in a fast-paced maternity environment. This role involves working with high-risk perinatal care, assisting in labor and delivery, and providing postpartum support. Our facility features comprehensive maternity services and a Level II NICU, ensuring a supportive and resourceful setting for both staff and patients.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate care to laboring mothers and newborns.
• Assist with various labor and delivery procedures, including vaginal deliveries, C-sections, and triage assessments.
• Monitor patients' vital signs and fetal heart rates during labor.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care.
• Educate patients and families on postpartum care and breastfeeding support.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery.
• Current certifications: BCLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate or Relias Fetal Monitoring.
• Must have experience in facilities with 100-200 deliveries; preference for experience in facilities handling over 200 deliveries.
• State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) required.
