Senior Estimator

Build More Than Projects. Help Build a Division @ HALEY CONTRACTING. We're looking for an experienced Senior- Level Estimator / Project Manager to help lead the continued growth of our Civil Division. Our company has built a strong reputation in underground utility construction, commercial plumbing and is now expanding into full sitework construction , creating an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to be part of building a division—not simply managing existing work. This position is roughly 50% estimating and 50% project management , allowing you to stay involved from pursuit through project completion. WHAT YOU WILL DO Estimating Prepare accurate and competitive estimates for underground utility and sitework projects Review plans, specifications, and bid documents Perform quantity takeoffs using Bluebeam and B2W Estimate. Solicit and evaluate supplier pricing Identify project risks and value engineering opportunities Participate in bid strategy meetings Build relationships with Owners/Municipalities, General Contractors, and Vendors Project Management Manage projects from award through closeout Prepare budgets, schedules, procurement plans, and project forecasts Manage subcontractors and suppliers Track costs, productivity, change orders, and project profitability Coordinate with superintendents and field personnel Attend owner meetings and maintain client relationships Ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, and within budget QUALIFICATIONS 5+ years of experience in civil construction Experience as an Estimator, Project Manager, or a combination of both Strong knowledge of: Underground utilities, Site development, Earthwork/Grading, Paving, Site Concrete Ability to read and interpret civil plans and specifications Strong organizational and communication skills We're not just looking for someone to process estimates & manage projects.
