Job Description

Join our dynamic team as an Assembler, where you'll play a crucial role in constructing gear boxes used in a variety of applications, from small conveyor belts at grocery stores to larger systems found in amusement parks. This position involves assembling gear reducers, gear motors, and other drive components, utilizing hand and power tools like screwdrivers, drills, and wrenches. You'll also conduct quality checks and test units to ensure they meet our high standards.

Responsibilities

• Assemble gear reducers, gear motors, and drive components based on work orders.

• Utilize hand and power tools, including screwdrivers, drills, and wrenches.

• Perform quality checks and testing of assembled units.

• Handle larger and more complex gearbox assemblies.

• Push and move up to 50+ lbs as needed.

Essential Skills

• 1+ year of assembly experience.

• 1+ year of job tenure in most recent roles.

• Proficiency in using hand tools and engaging in mechanical assembly.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in assembling units from the ground up.

• Ability to perform general labor tasks.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of DeForest, WI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.32 - $21.93/hr.
