The Night Auditor plays a crucial role in maintaining the accuracy of hotel financial records during overnight shifts while providing exceptional guest service. This position combines accounting responsibilities with front desk duties, ensuring smooth hotel operations throughout the night. The Night Auditor also holds supervisory responsibilities, overseeing overnight staff and using a proprietary Hotel Management System to manage tasks effectively.

Responsibilities

• Perform nightly audits of hotel financial transactions and reports using the proprietary Hotel Management System
• Reconcile and balance daily accounts, including guest folios, payments, and revenues
• Deliver front desk services such as check-in/check-out, answering guest inquiries, and resolving issues
• Supervise overnight staff to maintain operational efficiency and service standards
• Ensure security and safety procedures are followed during night hours
• Address guest concerns promptly and professionally to ensure satisfaction
• Prepare and submit nightly audit reports to management

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Strong customer service skills
• Excellent attention to detail

• Proven problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Entry-level experience in hospitality or hotel operations
