Rogers Group is seeking candidates to fill a position as an Off-Road Haul Truck Driver for the stripping crew, based out of the Gordonsville Quarry. This position will also service the Cross Plains Quarry as needed. The successful candidate for this position will have familiarity and experience operating articulated and/or rigid frame haul trucks and will have an uncompromising focus on safety excellence.

JOB DETAILS:

• Full-Time
• Location: Gordonsville, TN (will also service the Cross Plains, TN quarry as needed)
• Wages starting at $23.00/hr (mileage reimbursement when servicing the other location).

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Operate haul trucks to remove overburden and stripping material for quarry production.
• Operate haul trucks to move shot rock the pit to the crusher and begin the crushing process, as needed.
• Perform daily pre-and post- inspections with appropriate documentation in compliance with company policies.
• Perform servicing and maintenance of equipment as trained and directed by management.
• Effective communication skills applicable to position.
• Operate equipment with a high degree of competency, skill, and proficiency.
• Properly follow all company policies and OSHA / MSHA / Environmental regulations for safe working procedures and environment.
• Must be able to work outside in all types of weather and tolerate being exposed to loud noises.
• Willingness to work in a team environment and assist co-workers or supervisors with other duties as required.
• Must be willing to work overtime and extended hours as needed.
• Able to provide valid documentation for the I-9 Immigration document.
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record and Valid Drivers License required

QUALIFICATIONS

• Dedication to safe work practices.
• Previous experience operating both rigid frame haul trucks and/or articulating haul trucks preferred.
• Ability to perform general laborer and clean-up duties on the ground and in the plant as needed/directed.
• Pass pre-employment drug screen.
