Financial Analyst II - TS IR&D

Job Description

Provide financial support for Internal Research & Development (IR&D) projects in the Tactical Solutions (TS) Strategic Business Unit.

The Finance Strategic Capabilities Unit delivers the expertise and business acumen to increase value across the enterprise by providing actionable information with recommendations and opportunities to drive sustainable business growth.
What Youll Do:

• Provide financial management for a portfolio of projects dedicated to advancing product technical readiness.
• Support Principal Investigators by providing excellent communication, frequent financial reviews, and financial reporting and analysis.
• Track and report on program performance metrics.
• Assist with IR&D budgets, forecasts, analysis and reporting.
• Partner with a business unit and manage the financial side of their IR&D portfolio.
• Support audits by gathering and analyzing documentation.
• Access and retrieve information and data from various systems and reporting tools.
• Interact appropriately with others in-order to maintain a positive and productive work environment.
• Maintain a regular and predictable work schedule.
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships within the department, the Strategic Business Units, Strategic Capabilities Units and the Company. Interact appropriately with others in order to maintain a positive and productive work environment.
• Perform other duties as necessary.

On-Site Work Environment: This position requires regular in-person engagement by working on-site three or more days each normally scheduled week in the primary work location. Travel and local commute between company campuses and other possible non-company locations may be required.

Working Conditions:

• Work is performed in an office environment, laboratory, cleanroom, or production floor.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

• Bachelors degree in a related field plus 2 or more years related experience.
• Each higher-level degree, i.e., Masters Degree or Ph.D., may substitute for two years of experience. Related technical experience may be considered in lieu of education. Degree must be from a university, college, or school which is accredited by an agency recognized by the US Secretary of Education, US Department of Education.
• Must be able to handle sensitive related and proprietary information in a confidential manner.
• Ability to meet deadlines, with solid organization skills, with attention to detail and priorities.
• Ability to communicate and write effectively, with presentation skills.
• Ability to learn company software tools.
• Assist with raising financial acumen within team and core business partners through training and communication.

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $67406 - $114590

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
