CCCA offers up to a $25,000 Bonus for Registered Nurses that are new to state service and remain with the facility for 2 years.
• $15,000 sign-on bonus will be awarded to new hires to state service with a one-year written agreement required.
• An additional $10,000 retention bonus will be awarded to new hires. The retention bonus will be paid out one year after hire date and require a one-year written agreement. Above bouses are available to Registered Nurse that are new to DBHDS or have not worked for at least one year for Department of Behavior Health Developmental Services (DBHDS). The mission of CCCA is to serve those children and adolescents admitted to the Center by providing psychiatric diagnostic, evaluation, and treatment services of the highest quality attainable at a reasonable cost to the Commonwealth in coordination with the family, community services, and the professional community. The Center's services are provided to Virginia's youth toward the goal of improvement in their lives and development of their fullest potential. The Mission of the CCCA Nursing Department is to skillfully assess children for medical and mental health concerns when admitted for acute psychiatric care. The Registered Nurse responsibility is to report accurate information to the psychiatrist, who will then give direction to the RNs regarding appropriate medication and treatment regime to put into place for the patient. • 1st shift weekend-$5.50 per hour
• 2nd shift-weekday-$5.50 per hour/2nd shift weekend/holidays-$6.00 per hour
