Industrial Engineer II

This role offers the opportunity to improve manufacturing processes used to machine and fabricate critical valve components while supporting a world-class manufacturing operation.As an Industrial Engineer, you will work closely with production, quality, and engineering teams to solve manufacturing challenges, implement new manufacturing processes, and support the development and implementation of process improvements. If you enjoy analyzing processes, solving complex problems, and making a measurable impact, Emerson offers an excellent opportunity for professional growth and development.In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:Develop, evaluate, and continuously improve manufacturing methods to reduce cost and strengthen competitive advantage.Research new manufacturing technologies and recommend capital improvement projects.Analyze and plan workforce utilization, space requirements, workflow, and equipment layout to maximize efficiency and safety.Participate in design reviews with product development and design teams to ensure efficient, capable, and scalable production methods.Collaborate with vendors to define product specifications, source equipment, materials, and components, and evaluate them against quality and performance standards.Estimate production times, staffing needs, and related costs to support management decision‑making.Partner with management, design engineering, and cross‑functional teams on manufacturing capabilities, production schedules, and process improvements.Implement engineering changes and new process introductions into the manufacturing system in a timely and effective manner.Use CAD/CAM and CNC machining programs to help optimize manufacturing processes.Apply statistical methods to assess and improve manufacturing process capability.Develop clear work instructions and tooling documentation to support production teams.Support production departments by troubleshooting and resolving manufacturing issues.Who You Are:You prioritize safety and act with care for yourself and others.
