Travel Certified Surgical Technologist - 7A to 3:30P

Location: Englewood, CO

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Shift: 7A - 3:30P, 5 days a week

Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Travel Certified Surgical Technologist to join our team in Englewood, CO. The role requires a minimum of 6 months of current acute care hospital experience and proficiency in orthopedic and joint procedures. The ideal candidate will be a team player with a high level of accountability and expertise, capable of self-direction.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the surgical team during operations by preparing the operating room, sterilizing instruments, and maintaining a sterile field.
• Participate in neuro surgeries and transplants, with a focus on ortho/spine procedures.
• Contribute to effective team communication and collaboration.
• Provide support during patient transport and recovery.
• Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures, ensuring patient safety and care quality.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 6 months current acute care hospital experience as a CST.
• NBSTA and DORA Certifications required prior to submission.
• BLS certification is mandatory.
• Experience in orthopedic and joint surgeries preferred.
• Level I and trauma experience is a plus.
• Prior experience with Meditech is beneficial.
