TRC Talent Solutions in is looking for Stamping Technician for our client in Atlanta, GA

Job Details:

• 12-Hour Day shift: 6pm-6am

• Days: 3 on/3 off

• Pay: $22.00/hr.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Be a self-starter, work independently

• Set up a press with progressive stamping dies and their respective coils, including threading the tool in a quick and efficient manner.

• Ability to correctly diagnose cause of non-conformances related to stamping process.

• Adjust press ram, feed, coil height, knockout, air pins, as required to safely produce conforming product.

• Set up peripheral equipment such as scrap chutes, conveyors, and unloading devices.

• Responsible for producing high quality parts according to specifications.

• Make adjustments, as necessary, to maintain part conformance to print.

• Responsible to communicate with team members (Supervisor, Engineering Team, Quality Assurance) on any issues with the machine.

• Attend and participate in team and employee meetings.

• Participates in continuous improvement activities, submits improvement suggestions.

• Demonstrate excellent communication skills

Skills and Experience:

• Must have a HS diploma

• Solid works drawing.

• Clean room experience.

• Reel to reel wash experience.

• Injection molding experience.

• Automated inspection experience.

• Medical device manufacturing experience.

• Electrical, pneumatics, hydraulics, troubleshooting experience.

• 5 years demonstrated experience utilizing mills, drills, lathes, and grinding machines.

• Must have 3-5 years experience in setup of progressive dies and coil feed systems.

• 2-3 years experience in reel-to-reel stamping process design, development, validation, and operation. Preferably in the medical device field.
