Key responsibilities include: Strategic planning: Design and implement supply chain strategies to meet company goals, forecast demand, and adapt to market changes. Operations management: Oversee procurement, production, warehousing, and distribution, ensuring seamless operations and optimized workflows. Vendor relations: Manage supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and evaluate performance for quality and cost-effectiveness. Inventory & demand: Maintain optimal inventory levels, implement control techniques, and align production with customer trends. Logistics: Coordinate transportation and work with third-party logistics (3PL) providers to ensure timely deliveries. Cost management: Monitor costs, create budgets, and implement savings strategies while maintaining quality standards. Data analysis: Analyze supply chain performance metrics and recommend process improvements. Risk management: Identify risks, ensure regulatory compliance, and enforce health and safety policies.
