Your Key Responsibilities

• Performing thorough patient evaluations, ordering necessary tests, and crafting personalized treatment plans
• Diagnosing and managing acute, episodic, and chronic conditions, in partnership with supervising physicians or independently as credentialing permits
• Providing patient and family education focused on prevention, health maintenance, and chronic disease management
• Prescribing appropriate medications and treatments, adhering to the defined scope of practice
• Engaging in patient follow-ups and chronic care management efforts
• Working collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to deliver seamless, complete patient care
• Accurately documenting clinical information in electronic medical records (EMR)

Necessary Qualifications

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Essential Certifications

• Active Nurse Practitioner licensure in Texas
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP, or ANCC) or equivalent specialty
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or ability to secure them within 90 days)
