This hands-on position is ideal for someone who enjoys troubleshooting equipment, solving problems, working independently, and taking pride in keeping facilities operating safely and efficiently. You will perform a wide variety of maintenance tasks, respond to service requests, and help ensure our properties remain safe, functional, and well-maintained for tenants and visitors. Key Responsibilities Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain building systems and equipment Perform preventive maintenance on mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and life safety systems Service pumps, valves, pneumatic controls, electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic devices Assist with installation, modification, and replacement of building equipment and systems Complete work orders and respond promptly to maintenance requests Repair and replace building finishes including ceiling tiles, door hardware, paint, wallpaper, and related building components Inspect buildings, grounds, and equipment to identify safety concerns and preventive maintenance needs Maintain and operate fire alarm systems and other life safety equipment Evaluate maintenance operations and recommend improvements, upgrades, and cost‑saving initiatives Safely operate maintenance tools, equipment, and machinery Utilize smartphones, tablets, computers, work order systems, and building automation systems to document and manage maintenance activities Participate in emergency response as needed Requirements What We're Looking For Minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial building maintenance, facilities maintenance, property maintenance, manufacturing maintenance, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, or a related skilled trade Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving abilities Working knowledge of maintenance methods, tools, equipment, and building systems Experience performing preventive maintenance and repairs in a commercial environment preferred Comfortable using smartphones, tablets, and computerized maintenance management systems Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and respond with a strong sense of urgency Strong mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity Ability to work independently and as part of a team Valid driver's license preferred Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Ability to stand, walk, climb, kneel, and perform physical work for extended periods Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions Willingness to work overtime and participate in on‑call rotations as needed Core Competencies Technical proficiency Adaptability and flexibility Strong customer service mindset Effective communication skills Multi‑tasking and prioritization Teamwork and collaboration Attention to detail Sense of urgency and accountability Our Culture Our company is built on integrity and guided by three core principles: Warrior-Spirit Committed to excellence, innovation, and determination.
