About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nurse Specialty: MS/Tele Float Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Active RN license required Certifications: BLS, EPIC experience required Must-Have: - Experience floating to medical-surgical and rehabilitation units - Ability to care for COVID patients - Willingness to work weekends and holidays Description: Float pool - traveler will float to medical-surgical units and rehabilitation as needed. Holiday requirement: travelers will be expected to work 2 of the 3 upcoming major holidays. If the contract falls over only 2 of these holidays, the traveler will be expected to work 1 of the 2 holidays. Please do not request more than 1 holiday off. Schedule requirements: 3x12 Nights, every other weekend. Candidate will be reviewed by clinical to determine clinical fit. If the candidate passes the clinical review and is within guidelines, they will be sent to the manager for final decision. Minimum experience: 2 years. RTO: Maximum of 7 days. Weekends: As needed, likely every other weekend. Call requirements: Not applicable. Floating: As needed to medical-surgical/telemetry units and rehabilitation. Tobacco and fragrance-free facility. Local candidates may be offered at a lower bill rate. Candidates must comply with COVID-19 vaccination requirements. Medical and religious exemptions allowed for vaccination requirements. Travel pairs are acceptable, but matching schedules cannot be guaranteed. Candidates must possess required certifications. Compliance with state licensing requirements is mandatory and must be verified. Candidates may also be required to complete and pass an EKG exam within 72 hours of contract signing. Modules are billable and typically take 5-6 hours to complete prior to the start date.
