Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol Driver

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control and site operations. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $17.05 / Hour Must have a valid driver's license for 1+ years Job Schedule: Mon 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM Tue 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM Wed 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM Sun 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors at a manufacturing and industrial location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and reporting observations to appropriate personnel. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of manufacturing areas, office spaces, access points, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions. Monitor access to the location by checking credentials, directing visitors and contractors, and documenting entries and exits in accordance with site requirements. Complete accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift handoffs while communicating relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts. Minimum Requirements: A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
