Cath Lab Tech - Travel Job

Join our team as a Cath Lab Tech (Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) in Cedar Park, TX, and play a vital role on a clinical team that values your technical skill and judgment. Assist physicians and other cath lab personnel with diagnostic and interventional procedures, operate advanced imaging equipment, maintain sterile fields, monitor patient vitals, and provide patient education on post-procedure care.

Minimum Qualifications

• BLS Provider obtained within 30 days of hire or job transfer. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• One or more of the following credentialed prior to hire or job transfer: Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) from CCI; Cardiocardiographic Technologist specializing in Electrophysiology credentialed from CCI; or Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography credentialed from ARRT. Relevant specialties such as Vascular Interventional Radiography, Cardiac Interventional Radiography, or Cardiovascular Interventional Radiography acceptable.
• Experience working in a hospital cath lab environment with combined cath lab, interventional radiology, and vascular procedures preferred.
• Experience with Philips Azurion and Allura systems, Mac-Lab hemodynamic systems, or equivalent imaging and hemodynamic platforms preferred.
• Ability to scrub and monitor multiple modalities as part of a three-person procedure team. Call is required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Prior experience working in a three-person procedure team with two techs and one RN preferred.

Assignment Details

• Shift Hours: 07:00-15:30.
• Call required.
• Work includes procedures across Cath Lab, IR, and Vascular areas and may require floating within the client's local facility network.
