The position focuses on heavy maintenance for commercial aircraft, supporting the full service life of a diverse fleet, including narrow- and wide-body aircraft.

- Perform disassembly, repair, cleaning, adjustment, assembly, testing, and calibration of aircraft components using company tools, ground support equipment, and applicable maintenance documentation.
- Repair, replace, and rebuild aircraft structures such as wings, fuselage, and other airframe sections, as well as functional components including rigging, surface controls, plumbing, and hydraulic units.

- Repair or replace defective engine parts, reassemble engines, and reinstall engines on aircraft in accordance with approved data and procedures.
- Adjust, repair, or replace electrical wiring systems and aircraft accessories to restore proper function and ensure continued airworthiness.
- Perform miscellaneous service duties on aircraft, including cleaning, servicing, greasing, moving parts, and checking brakes and other basic systems.
- Work on commercial aircraft airframes in a heavy maintenance and MRO environment, supporting both line maintenance and deeper structural and systems work as required.
- Use aircraft ground servicing equipment such as tugs, tractors, hi-lifts, trucks, servicing carts, and test equipment safely and effectively.
- Follow all FAA regulations, company policies, and quality procedures, ensuring accurate documentation of work performed and maintaining compliance with repair station requirements.
- Maintain and use a personal basic tool set that is properly etched and in good working condition.
- Support a safe work environment by using required personal protective equipment and adhering to all safety guidelines, including working at heights and around moving machinery.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet maintenance schedules, support on-time aircraft delivery, and respond to overtime needs on an as-needed basis.
- Participate in training as required and adapt to evolving procedures, standards, and operational needs in a contract-to-hire environment.
Essential Skills
- Airframe certification required.
- 3–5+ years of aircraft maintenance experience.
- Hands-on experience with commercial aircraft airframes in heavy maintenance, line maintenance, or MRO environments.
- Proficiency in aircraft maintenance and repair, including airframe, structural, and systems work.
- Ability to read, interpret, and apply manufacturers’ and airlines’ maintenance manuals, service bulletins, and technical specifications.
- Experience repairing, replacing, and rebuilding aircraft structures such as wings, fuselage, and associated components.
- Experience working with functional components including rigging, surface controls, plumbing, and hydraulic units.
- Ability to disassemble, inspect, repair, and reassemble aircraft and engine parts in accordance with approved data.
- Skill in adjusting, repairing, or replacing electrical wiring systems and aircraft accessories.
- Familiarity with Boeing and Airbus commercial aircraft platforms.
- Current valid driver’s license.
- Ability to provide and use a basic set of personal tools, properly etched prior to first day on site.
- Physical ability to meet job demands, including lifting up to 50 pounds unassisted and performing frequent bending, stooping, kneeling, and work at heights.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- A&P license preferred.
- Experience in aircraft maintenance repair within an MRO or Part 145 repair station environment.
- Experience in both heavy maintenance and line maintenance on commercial aircraft.
- Familiarity with airframe systems, aircraft ground support equipment, and standard aircraft maintenance practices.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to following regulatory and company procedures.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented hangar environment and adapt to a contract-to-hire structure where performance and attitude influence conversion timeline.
Why Work Here?
