PositionPhysician - Emergency Medicine LocationBeaufort Memorial Hospital Full-Time/Part-TimeFull-Time ShiftVarious Shifts Exempt/Non-ExemptNon-Exempt DescriptionBeaufort Memorial, a not-for-profit hospital, is excited to bring its Emergency Department services in-house and is seeking additional board-certified Emergency Medicine Physicians to join our dedicated team.About the opportunity:Join a team of board-certified Emergency Medicine Physicians and Advanced Practice ProvidersVarying shift lengths: 8, 9 or 10 hour shiftsAverage patients per hour is 2.0Diverse case mix wiht no shortage of procedures; proficiency in all ER procedures expected24/7 in-house support from Anesthesia, Pediatric Hospitalists and HospitalistsTrama surgery available on-callAccess to a wide range of on-call specialties: Othopedics, Neurosurgery, Neurology, ENT, GI, Nephrology, General Surgery and Vascular SurgeryIntensivist coverage in-house from 7A-7P; Hospitalists cover ICU overnight with intensivist on callThe ED does not respond to hospital airways or codesFAST track option available for ESI 3-5 patientsPosition RequirementsMust be familiar with a wide range of ailments, diseases, and disorders and injuries. Develops treatment plans individualized to the patient's needs. Implements treatment plans, writes orders for medications, treatments, tests, and provides patient care.
