Growth-Focused Amazon Marketplace Lead

Our client is seeking an experienced Amazon Marketplace Manager to take ownership of a growing Amazon 3P business. This is a hands-on role responsible for the overall performance and profitability of the Amazon channel, including sales, margin, inventory, FBA, catalog management, pricing and advertising. This is not simply an Amazon advertising position. The right candidate will understand how all parts of an Amazon business work together and will be comfortable both developing strategy and executing the day to-day work required to grow the channel profitably. What You'll Do Own Amazon revenue, profitability and overall channel performance. Manage the Amazon Seller Central account and maintain strong account health. Forecast demand and manage FBA inventory, replenishment and shipment planning. Monitor inventory levels, days of supply, stock-outs and aged inventory. Manage new product launches from initial setup through live listings. Create and maintain SKUs, ASINs, listings, variations and product catalog data. Establish and adjust pricing based on margin targets, Amazon fees and competitive activity. Manage Buy Box strategy and promotional pricing. Maintain catalog accuracy and resolve listing suppressions, stranded inventory and other Seller central issues. Own Amazon advertising strategy, budgets, targeting, bids and campaign optimization. Manage advertising performance against efficiency and profitability targets. Partner with creative and merchandising teams on product copy, imagery, Brand Store placement and A+ Content. Review sales, traffic, advertising and inventory performance weekly and identify actions to improve results. Reconcile FBA shipments and pursue reimbursements for receiving and inventory discrepancies. Monitor Amazon policy, fee and program changes that could impact the business. Build processes and identify opportunities to automate or simplify marketplace operations. What We're Looking For 3+ years of hands-on experience managing an Amazon 3P / Seller Central business. Strong working knowledge of FBA inventory and replenishment. Demonstrated ownership of Amazon revenue, margin or other channel performance metrics. Hands-on experience managing Amazon advertising campaigns, targeting and bids. Strong understanding of Amazon catalog management, pricing and account health. Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and lookup functions. Experience working with ERP or inventory management systems. Strong analytical skills and comfort working with large data sets. Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multi-step processes accurately. Self-directed approach with the ability to identify what needs to be done and execute without extensive oversight. Preferred Experience NetSuite or comparable ERP experience. Helium 10 or similar Amazon marketplace tools. Additional marketplace experience with Walmart, Target Plus, Faire or other eCommerce channels. Demand planning or inventory forecasting experience. How Success Will Be Measured Success in this role will be measured by profitable Amazon revenue growth, contribution margin, advertising efficiency, inventory health, in-stock performance, reduction of aged inventory and storage fees, speed and accuracy of new product launches, and consistent execution of the channel's weekly operating rhythm. #J-18808-Ljbffr Populus Recruiting
