With steady local work, competitive pay, and a culture built on safety and respect, you'll take pride in maintaining the trucks that keep our business moving.Key ResponsibilitiesInterpersonal & Business ConductCommunicate effectively with associates, customers, and suppliers to ensure timely and accurate business operationsMaintenance & RepairService and maintain all company vehiclesFabricate, repair, and maintain plant machineryTools, Materials, & Equipment UsedHand & Power Tools: welder, bandsaw, cutting torchHeavy Equipment & Vehicles: tractor, dump truck, forkliftOther Equipment: car washSafetyAdheres to all driving regulations based on state and/or jurisdiction policies such as wearing a seatbeltMaintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environmentFollow all safety protocols and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) requirements to maintain a safe working environmentUse proper lifting techniquesWear appropriate personal protective equipment, safety shoes and clothingPhysical Job RequirementsFrequent use of hands and arms for equipment operation, grasping and manipulationFrequent driving or sitting in a truck, forklift or other similar equipment for multiple hours a dayFrequent pushing, pulling, lifting or carrying building materials weighing approximately 100 pounds, using proper lifting procedures; and occasionally pushing, pulling, lifting or carrying greater weights. Pushing and pulling carts loaded carts over various distances and surfaces.
