- Lead and execute data science projects, delivering innovative technical solutions that drive improved business outcomes
- Design, develop, and validate machine learning and statistical models to ensure optimal performance and scalability
- Collaborate closely with machine learning engineers to deploy models in both real-time and batch processing environments, and monitor model performance over time
- Support strategic discussions with key business stakeholders by providing data-driven insights and identifying opportunities for growth and optimization
- Build and maintain strong relationships with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and collaboration across the business
- Serve as a subject matter expert in machine learning and predictive modeling, providing guidance and expertise across projects
- Stay current with emerging trends by actively researching new theories, methodologies, and technologies in data science and AI
- Proficient in Python and SQL for data analysis, modeling, and automation
- Hands-on experience with database technologies, including PostgreSQL, Redis, and Elasticsearch
- Familiarity with modern transformer architectures, such as Small Language Models, Large Language Models, Vision-Language Models, and Embedding Models
- Expertise in API development and container technology
- Experience with cloud platform and services such as: BigQuery, google cloud storage, CloudSQL andVectorSearch
- Working knowledge of software development tools and practices such as: Git, branching model, agile development, Test-driven-development
