The Business Specialist with the Gas Measurement team provides high‑level support to the leadership of the department within the United States Sales Organization. The role ensures smooth operations and optimal efficiency within the leadership team and broader management group. Which tasks will you perform? Support and thought partner for all parts of the organization including sales, product management, engineering, production, fulfilment and services Actively contribute to process improvements to enhance business efficiency and effectiveness Manage group budgets, headcounts, targets, and goals Analyze the functioning of processes and suggest effective solutions by researching, visualizing, articulating, solving problems, and implementing solutions Develop new business programs and make enhancements to meet changing customer demands Collaborate and contribute to the organization to promote cross‑functional and process thinking Manage on‑site business partner and guest experiences, support business leader schedule management and be the positive go‑to person for any business‑related issues Maximize the Vice President of Gas Measurement productivity by strategically managing a fast‑paced calendar, ensuring alignment with sales cycles, strategic priorities and key business initiatives What do we expect from you? You Will Have (required) Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or a combination of education and experience Ability to work on‑site Monday through Friday, standard business hours Willingness to travel 5–10% as needed You May Have (preferred) Master’s Degree preferred (MBA or related experience) Results‑driven achiever with exemplary planning and organizational skills, along with a high degree of detail orientation Exceptional listener and communicator who effectively conveys information verbally and in writing Experience excelling in a fast‑paced environment where there is high volume of tasks and priorities shifting continuously Strong proficiency with business technology, including Microsoft Office and CRM systems, to stay organized, analyze information, and support daily operations Ability to work and make informed decisions independently and on own initiative Demonstrates moral courage by standing up for their beliefs, taking justifiable risks, addressing contradictions, and knowing when to say no Ability to navigate ambiguity, develop and execute strategic plans and solutions, and drive business results Demonstrates trust, respect, and support for others, fostering teamwork and a collaborative spirit Collaborates effectively with others, sometimes across departments, to achieve organizational goals and enhance customer experience Builds and maintains strong, trustworthy business relationships, leveraging long‑term partnerships to achieve collective success What can you expect from us?
