Warehouse Associate (Order Selector)

Location: Jacksonville, FL (Onsite) Duration: 8 months Schedule:

• Monday Thursday: 8:00 AM 4:30 PM
• Friday: 6:00 AM 4:30 PM (or until work is completed)

Job Summary: Seeking an experienced Warehouse Associate responsible for order selection, palletizing, and safe material handling in a fast-paced environment with varying temperature zones (dry, cooler, freezer). This role requires operating equipment, maintaining accuracy, and adhering to safety and food quality standards.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately pick and stage products using warehouse management systems
• Operate electric riding pallet jack and other material handling equipment
• Build and secure pallets (heavy items on bottom, proper labeling, shrink wrapping)
• Inspect products for damage, shortages, or quality issues
• Transport completed orders to staging/dock areas
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas
• Perform equipment inspections and report maintenance needs
• Follow all safety, food safety, and compliance regulations
• Record and manage inventory data using RF/warehouse systems
• Support warehouse efficiency and minimize product loss

Required Skills:

• 35 years of warehouse or order selection experience
• Experience operating pallet jacks and/or forklifts
• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs regularly
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work in temperature-controlled environments
• Basic math and English communication skills
• Ability to meet productivity and efficiency standards

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with warehouse management systems and RF scanners
• Knowledge of inventory control and labeling systems

Tools/Environment:

• Electric riding triple pallet jack
• RF scanners and warehouse computer systems
• Cold storage and variable temperature zones
• Steel-toe boots and appropriate cold-weather gear required
