Job Summary:
Medical Surgical Float Position in Santa Fe, New Mexico. This full-time role involves providing patient care within a medical-surgical unit, coordinating and implementing nursing practices specific to adult and geriatric patient populations. The Registered Nurse will ensure high-quality, safe, and efficient clinical care aligned with the unit's standards and organizations mission.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Night shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Current New Mexico Registered Nurse (RN) license or current Compact state license, BLS certification via American Heart Association (AHA), ACLS certification via AHA, and a minimum of 0 years of experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: None specified.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: The RN will obtain and record initial assessments, develop and implement individualized care plans, make nursing decisions based on patient evaluations, and participate in patient education and discharge planning. Responsibilities include delegating tasks, coordinating team assignments, participating in staff orientation, and fostering a positive work environment. The RN must communicate effectively with patients, families, and team members, demonstrating professionalism and respect while adhering to all safety and organizational policies. This position requires flexibility and a commitment to professional growth.
