Work Environment\n

This role is primarily remote, allowing our team to balance professional responsibilities with personal commitments effectively. You will have a flexible work schedule, primarily from Monday to Friday, between 9:00 AM and 6:00 PM, with occasional adjustments to meet patient needs. Our outpatient office is focused on providing a welcoming environment where therapists and clients can engage in meaningful dialogue and healing.

Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist at SpringLeaf, your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting thorough, culturally sensitive mental health assessments to understand the unique experiences of each patient and develop tailored treatment plans.

  • Implementing evidence-based therapeutic interventions that respect patients' cultural and personal backgrounds, ensuring a holistic approach to their mental health.

  • Facilitating individual, family, and group therapy sessions aimed at addressing various mental health challenges, promoting resilience, and enhancing overall well-being.

  • Collaborating closely with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other mental health professionals to provide comprehensive, coordinated care for our clients.

  • Providing crisis intervention support during mental health emergencies, ensuring patients receive immediate and effective assistance when necessary.

  • Offering educational resources to patients and their families about mental health conditions, available treatments, and community support services, fostering informed decision-making.

  • Maintaining accurate and confidential documentation that adheres to legal and ethical standards in all patient interactions.

  • Actively participating in case conferences, team meetings, and cultural competency training to promote continuous learning and best practices in our care approach.

  • Staying updated on current research, and incorporating the latest evidence-based practices into your therapeutic work.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your role is pivotal in serving a diverse patient population that includes individuals from various ethnicities, cultural backgrounds, and life experiences. You will work with patients who may be facing challenges related to identity, acculturation, trauma, and mental health disorders. Your ability to provide culturally sensitive care will empower them to navigate their unique circumstances effectively.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and possess the necessary licensing as a Mental Health Therapist. Strong communication skills, empathy, and a deep understanding of cultural competence in mental health care are essential for success in this role.

Preferred Experience\n

While a Bachelor’s degree is required, candidates with a Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or related disciplines will be given preference. Experience working in diverse community settings and familiarity with various therapeutic modalities will enhance your candidacy.

Compensation and Benefits\n
