This role is ideal for a technician who enjoys troubleshooting mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues while working independently in the field. You will be responsible for developing repair plans, ordering parts, documenting repairs, and ensuring equipment is returned to service safely and efficiently.Key ResponsibilitiesDiagnose and repair heavy construction equipment and component systemsDevelop repair plans including sequence of work, required tooling, and partsPerform mechanical, hydraulic, diesel, and electrical repairs on equipmentConduct quality assurance testing following repairs to ensure proper operationComplete daily service reports, parts orders, and work orders accurately and on timeCommunicate repair progress and equipment status to supervisors and customersRetrieve and return parts and materials using internal parts ordering systemsMaintain and properly use service trucks, tools, and shop equipmentFollow all company safety policies and proceduresMaintain a clean and organized work area and service vehiclePerform additional service tasks and support assignments as neededRequirementsHigh school diploma or GED requiredAssociate degree in Diesel or Equipment Technology OR four years of apprenticeship experienceStrong mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical troubleshooting skillsExperience repairing construction or heavy equipment preferredAbility to work independently in field service environmentsStrong communication and documentation skillsValid driver's license with clean driving recordTechnician level classification based on experience and competencyIf you are interested, please apply!
