Our culture in Risk Management and Compliance is centered on thinking outside the box, challenging the status quo, and striving to be best in class.As an Associate on the Credit Risk Management team, you will support Chase Card Services by delivering analytics and insights that inform credit risk decisions related to co-brand portfolio conversions and new product features. You will partner with teams across Risk, Product, Marketing, and Technology to balance portfolio performance with business objectives while strengthening decision rules and monitoring capabilities. You will help identify risks and opportunities, translate analyses into clear recommendations, and promote strong risk management practices.Job responsibilities:Monitor internal and external behavioral data and industry trends to continuously improve risk management processesIdentify and assess performance trends using statistical, data mining, and quantitative methodsAnalyze and challenge the performance of key business initiatives, independently generating solutions and recommended actionsConduct root cause analysis and translate findings into clear, actionable recommendations for senior leaders and stakeholdersPartner with cross-functional teams to support portfolio risk decision rules and ongoing enhancementsLead and support initiatives end-to-end by defining problem statements, identifying risks and opportunities, securing stakeholder alignment, and driving deliverySupport development and maintenance of the risk management framework, helping ensure alignment to regulatory expectationsPrepare and present risk monitoring reports and insights to senior management and stakeholdersRequired qualifications, capabilities, and skills:Bachelor’s degree or higher in a quantitative discipline such as Finance, Statistics, Economics, MathematicsMinimum 3 years of experience in consumer lending risk management and/or consumer banking project implementation.Strong analytical, interpretive, and problem-solving skills with ability to structure and execute analyses logicallyAbility to translate complex analysis into practical solutions and concise, executive-ready presentationsHands-on experience on using at least two of the following tools: SAS, SQL, or PythonStrong attention to detail and a results-oriented mindset, with ability to make independent decisionsInitiative owner in a consumer lending risk management system deployment project preferredChase is a leading financial services firm, helping nearly half of America’s households and small businesses achieve their financial goals through a broad range of financial products.
