The Machine Operator (Entry Level) supports manufacturing operations by assisting with running machines, loading materials, monitoring machinery, and ensuring product quality. This position will shadow skilled machine operators to learn specific machine skillsets used in our production processes. Working primarily on general manufacturing equipment during day shifts, this role emphasizes safety compliance and teamwork to maintain efficient and safe production processes.

Responsibilities

• Load materials into machines efficiently and safely
• Assist machine operators in work areas requiring multiple operators
• Perform daily cleaning tasks of machines and the work area
• Record production data as required
• Assist in quality inspection of products to maintain standards
• Monitor machines for proper operation and report issues promptly
• Follow and enforce safety procedures to ensure a safe work environment
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors for smooth workflow
• Lift and handle materials up to 50 pounds as required

Preferred Qualifications

• 1+ years experience in manufacturing operations
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Basic knowledge of machine operation and mechanical aptitude
• Familiarity with safety procedures in manufacturing settings
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Attention to detail for quality assurance
