Day in the Life Perform vehicle inspections, identify mechanical problems, provide preventative maintenance, recommend repairs with labor and time estimates, and complete repairs and part replacements. Maintain excellent communication, customer service, and stay up‑to‑date with training. Qualifications At least 18 years old Valid driver’s license Physical ability to perform typical tasks, including standing for several hours and lifting up to 50 lbs Comfortable working in a variety of weather conditions Excellent mechanical and problem‑solving skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Exceptional customer service skills Work Schedule Lube Techs work 15-40 hours per week depending on part‑time or full‑time status.
