Travel RN – Med-Surg Float Pool

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13 Weeks | Days (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care within a Med-Surg Float Pool setting at a large academic medical center
• Float to various medical-surgical units as needed based on staffing and census demands
• Utilize Epic EMR for documentation, order management, and patient communication
• Adhere to facility dress code: navy blue scrubs required
• Complete a competency assessment within 24 hours of submission if applicable

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Epic EMR experience required
• Minimum of 1 year of experience at a 600+ bed academic hospital (competency testing required); 2 years of experience exempts testing requirement
• Must be prepared to complete competency testing within 24 hours of submission if applicable; test is sent to the candidate's email on file
• Candidates from certain ineligible local counties are not being accepted — please confirm eligibility at time of submission

Preferred Experience / Skills

• 2 or more years of Med-Surg experience in a high-acuity or academic hospital setting
• Prior float pool or multi-unit experience
• Familiarity with large academic medical center workflows and protocols
