Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) - Newport, NH (03773)
Position OverviewSchool is seeking a qualified Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to provide 1:1 behavioral support to an elementary student transitioning from 1st grade into 2nd grade. The RBT will support the student's academic, social, and behavioral goals by implementing individualized strategies under the supervision of a BCBA.
This is a part-time, school-based position located in the Newport, New Hampshire (03773) area. Key Responsibilities Provide 1:1 behavioral support services to an assigned elementary student
Implement and follow behavior intervention plans (BIPs)
Collect and track data on student progress and behavior
Collaborate with teachers, staff, and supervising BCBA
Support the student's social, emotional, and academic development
Assist with classroom participation and behavioral redirection
Maintain consistent and accurate documentation Qualifications Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification required
Experience working with elementary-aged students preferred
Knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles
Ability to work collaboratively in a school-based team environment
Strong communication and behavioral management skills Position Details Location: Newport, NH (03773)
Schedule: 6 hours per day (30 hours per week)
Grade Level: Elementary (1st grade 2nd grade transition)
Setting: School-based, 1:1 support role
Supervision: BCBA support provided by district Compensation & Benefits Competitive hourly rate (starting around $60/hour, flexible based on experience)
