Part-Time Weekend PCALocation: Atlanta, GAEmployer: Destiny's Child Inc.Destiny's Child Inc. is seeking caring and reliable Personal Care Asssistant to join our team for weekend shifts supporting adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in their homes. This is a part-time position, working every Saturday and Sunday.Available Shifts:8:00am – 4:00pm4:00pm – 12:00am12:00am – 8:00amOR12:00pm – 12:00am12:00am – 12:00pmAbout the Role:As a DSP, you'll provide essential care and support to individuals in a home setting. You'll help with daily activities, encourage independence, and ensure the health and safety of those you serve. Your work will make a meaningful difference in the lives of our clients.Key Responsibilities:Assist with personal care: bathing, skin care, grooming, toileting, and mobilitySupport daily living: meal prep, dishwashing, housekeeping, and laundryEscort clients to appointments and activities in the communityMonitor and remind clients about prescribed medicationsProvide companionship and supervisionTake and record vital signs as neededHelp clients achieve their Individual Service Plan (ISP) goalsReport client progress and concerns to the appropriate team membersQualifications:At least 2 years of verifiable experience as a care providerHigh school diploma or equivalentLegal authorization to work in the U.S.Clean background checkCurrent CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)Physical exam and TB test (or chest X-ray)Valid Georgia driver's license and 7-year motor vehicle reportCNA certification or ability to pass the PSA testStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to use a computer and complete documentationReliable, compassionate, and able to follow instructionsExperience with elderly, disabled, or convalescing individuals is preferredSpecialized training or at least one year of experience working with people with developmental disabilities is a plusHow to Apply:Qualified candidates are invited to apply.
