Experienced Concrete Form Carpenter

$37.59 per hour

Job Description

We are seeking experienced Concrete Form Carpenters to join our team on commercial construction projects throughout Mid-Michigan. Candidates should have experience building and stripping concrete formwork, reading blueprints, performing layout, and working safely in a fast-paced commercial environment.

Responsibilities

Build, set, align, and strip concrete formwork
Install footings, walls, columns, decks, and structural concrete forms
Read and interpret blueprints and layout drawings
Measure, cut, and assemble forming materials
Operate hand and power tools safely
Work effectively with crews to maintain production schedules
Follow OSHA and company safety standards

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of commercial concrete formwork experience preferred
Ability to read construction drawings
Experience with Symons, EFCO, Peri, Doka, or similar forming systems preferred
Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in all weather conditions
Reliable transportation
Strong work ethic and dependable attendance

Compensation & Benefits

Journeyman Base Wage: $37.59/hour
Total Compensation Package: $62.45/hour
