SUPERVISORY TRANSPORTATION ASSISTANT

Duties
Plans, organizes, and directs the activities of the Personal Property element ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements and customer needs are met.
Exercises supervisory personnel management responsibilities.
Represents Personal Property element with a variety of installation and functional area organizations.
Acts as a technical advisor implementing transportation management plans, programs, policies, procedures, transportation management systems, and techniques incident to the worldwide shipment and storage of household goods.
Counsels members regarding policies and procedures for the proper preparation of personal property for shipment and/or storage, including specialized items, to domestic and overseas locations.
