You will work onsite in Irvine, CA on an early shift (5:30 AM – 2:00 PM), collaborating with Quality, Production Control and Engineering to meet schedule and performance targets. Your work will directly impact product readiness and manufacturing efficiency.Here's How You'll Make an Impact on the TeamPerform electronic and electromechanical assembly and subassembly work on a semi-repetitive to repetitive production basisApply ESD controls, resistance welding, soldering, epoxy mixing, bonding, and packaging techniquesAssemble cable harnesses and PCBs; perform mechanical assembly of small parts and meet torque requirementsConduct high-voltage potting and high-voltage testing; operate microscopes for microelectronic assemblyInterpret blueprints, job travelers, test specifications, service bulletins, and quality directivesMaintain productivity and quality metrics; complete weekly assignments and report failures, FOD, parts shortages, and safety incidents to your supervisorLead and participate in lean initiatives and suggest areas for process improvementEnsure equipment calibration per schedule and comply with safety and department rulesHere's What You'll Need to Be Successful in This RoleHigh school diploma or GEDSix (6) or more years of related electronics assembly experienceCertification to IDC Specialist and J-STD-001Proficient microelectronic assembly skills and experience with cable harness and PCB assemblyMechanical troubleshooting skills and familiarity with torque requirementsAbility to read and interpret safety rules, operating/maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, and technical documentsBasic computer skills to log work orders and access timecardsAbility to operate winding/braiding machinery, torque wrenches, digital multimeters, up to 12kV Hypot, soldering irons, cutters, wire strippers, crimpers, heat guns, microscopes, and common hand toolsAbility to occasionally lift/move up to 25 pounds and meet vision and physical requirements describedHere's What Else Might Help You OutPrior experience identifying and eliminating production bottlenecksExperience participating in continuous improvement or lean manufacturing initiativesPay Range$16.12 - $20.15/hourReady to Make Your Mark?This role may fill quickly.
