Registered Respiratory Therapist - Cardio-Pulmonary Care

Location: Berkshire County, MA

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Varied schedule including three 8-hour shifts (3 PM - 11:30 PM) during the week and one 12-hour shift (7 AM - 7:30 PM) every other week.

Job Description: The Registered Respiratory Therapist performs various technical duties to administer complex cardio-pulmonary care treatments to patients according to the physician's verbal or written orders.

Responsibilities

• Administer cardio-pulmonary care treatments based on physician orders.
• Cross-train in cardio-related functions, including EKG, stress tests, Holter and event monitoring, and EEGs.
• Participate in patient care and support departmental functions as needed.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 5 years current RRT experience required.
• Massachusetts Registered Respiratory Therapist License in good standing.
• Active RRT Certification through The National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC).
• Active American Heart Association BLS Certification.
• Active Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Certification.
• Meditech Expanse experience is strongly preferred.
• Traveler must have their own vehicle for this assignment.
